Hey, asking for a friend..she just got this revolver and wanted some info on it, like what it might be worth mostly. It's a 5 shot, the numbers on the side of the barrel are worn all the way off, but the information on the top says "Harrington and Richardson Arms Co. Worcester, Mass. USA". Thanks.

You have a Harrington & Richardson "Auto Ejecting" top-break revolver that is either a .38 (5 shot) or .32 (6 shot). They were manufactured during the 1880's through the early 1900's. in large quantites. There is some collector interest, but only in near-mint examples. This one obviously has damaged grips. I would estimate its value to be between $35.00 to $75.00 depending on its overall condition. Sorry I couldn't give you better news.

They stopped building the Auto Ejector prior to 1942... Enjoy
