Well cool. I knew I should go ahead and subscribe instead of buying it off the rack.

I really need to get myself a subscription to that mag! So how many different THR members have been in SWAT so far?

I'm pretty sure there have been a bunch of us in SWAT. This is my first time. My article will be in the next issue.
Billy, why did you think that? (let me guess, big ugly guy with a Saiga... must be Correia!) :)
twoblink. Yea, that sounds more like it.
thefitzvh, no scanner here.

I was curious if that was you Correia . I saw that swat had a review of the saiga next month and was pretty stoked. I showed it to my sister and in doing so noticed the Molon Labe hat. I then had a thought that that saiga looked fairly small in the individuals hands, combined with the molon labe hat, made me curious if it was you or not. Looking forward to the review, and congrats on being in a magazine :).

Actually truth be known and I am bigger and uglier than you. When I saw that a review of a Saiga shotgun was coming and that you are a BIG Saiga shotgun liker and that alot of the THR guys show up in SWAT I figured it was only natural that it either be you are you were somehow involved.

I can never find any SWAT mags around here. I also have the same problem with Blade magazine. I went to the counter and asked if they had Blade and the guy handed me a pup mag that said Blade and was geared toward the homo-lifestyle. I got mad and said the Blade is a knive magazine and the guy with 50 piercing in his face said back to me "Why would anyone want a knive magazine?". Great! Its ok to sell mags with naked guys hunching each other, but not knives! Grrr.

Billy, bigger AND uglier? Brother, I salute you.
chevrofreak, I'm very elusive. Kind of like Nessie. Actually you don't need to see pictures of me. Just imagine a younger and leaner version of James Gandolfini from the Sopranos. :)
There was one picture that I took that I really hope Denny decides to use. It is my buddy Mitch. He has spina-bifida. And we got a great shot of him blazing away with the Saiga from his wheelchair. It is a seriously cool shot.

The issue Larry is talking about is the new (Jan) issue. it's a preview blurb. Subscribers have it, but it will not hit the newsstands until 12/14.
Larry's article on the Saiga will be in the March cover date March ships to subscribers the first part of January and goes on newsstands 1/25 (the cover date refers to when an issue goes off the stands).

Very tiny picture of me in a group shot for a review of an ITTS class. My one claim to fame (unless you count a rather lackluster performance as a contestant on Win Ben Stein's Money...Oh well...)

Typhoon! You were on win Ben Stein's money? :D That is awesome! I tried out for Jeopardy once. Got my butt kicked.
Thanks Denny. I've read SWAT for so long, that I'm just kind of excited to be in it.

Yeah, I tried out for the Ben Stein show on a dare and to my great surprise, actually made it through. Got creamed, but it was fun.
Stein is hilarious. Before the show he came out and met all of us. When he found out what bank I was working for at the time, he immediately launched into a minutes long tirade about how badly they treated him at one of the branches. This was off-camera, but when I was introduced to the audience and the camera, he had to comment very loudly that I worked for an “EVIL BANK.”
Fortunately, I had resigned from there by the time the show aired. I don’t think I will ever be able to go back…Hee Hee.
