I may have missed it in my archive search, but has anybody ever posted a list of sources if NON-custom (as in reasonably priced) holsters for those of us who are left handed? f'rinstance I have one, count 'em one synthetic uncle mikes type left handed belt holster that fits my PT-945. When I ask most places they say 'uh, well we usually have a few left handed holsters over there on the wall' or something similar.

I am a left handed shooter too and have only one time found left handed holsters in a gunshop. Usually I will check out the right handed models and when I find one that I like or think will work best for me I go online and order it.

Have ordered lefties from Galco (my favorite for leather belt holsters), Comp-Tac (my favorite IWB) and Don Hume leathergoods.

I have a tuckable Galco that was made for a Glock 17(?) that holds my PT945 well. I carried it in it for about a year with no problems until I finally got the USP that I was looking for.

I'm left handed and have many LH holsters for many firearms, both autos an wheelguns.
Many holster manufacturers make left hand holsters. They can be had in leather (Don Hume, Bianchi, Desantis, Alessi etc) balistic nylon (Uncle Mike's, Bagmaster etc) or in plastics (G-code, Fobus etc). Usually have to order them as they aren't usually stocked on shelves.

I have LH holsters from Alessi, Bianchi, Tex Shoemaker, and G&G. They're easy to come by if you look.

I spent endless hours searching for a left-handed holster-wanted
a holster for scoped handgun with a flap-for deer hunting here
in WI -gave up after looking,calling,e-mailing etc...
bought the uncle mikes one in right handed-fits over all your clothes, is the hard case type material-we get some pretty rotten weather during nov. used it last season-works great, not that big a deal to just get used to it. my.02 worth

When I was in Wisconsin (I grew up there, and also spent summers there when I was in grad school) the only place I found that had much in the way of left handed holsters was Gander Mountain - shoot I still miss that place even if I did spend way too much money everytime I went inside!:D

seems like there is always something I need to own every time I go there. Alot of the guys that work the gun counter at the location that I frequent are into pistols and will usually spend time to talk about it(as long as its not to busy)

Try "highnoon .com" I am a lefty and thier holsters are excellent, I prefer the Sky High model. I also like Blade Techs for IWB style holsters. Happy Hunting:D

G-Code turns out all there stuff in lefty too, as does Blade-tech, Comp-tac and others.

The owner of Wild Bill's Concealment leather has told me they have forms for all of their patterns in Lefty, they just don't keep stock as that is expensive. They will gladly make one when you ask for the same price as the wrong-handed models.

I just ordered a holster and mag carrier from GUNNERSALLEY.COM and they are great to work with. They carry G-CODE,HUME,FIST,KRAMER look them up.

I walked into Extreme Outfitters in VaBch and found out they stocked Southpaw stuff, nearly died and went to heaven. Got one for my Glocks, it rides higher and closer than the blade-tech I was using, and it feels faster. I've used the mag pouches IWB as well as up front at silly angles as IPSC people are wont to do. Imagine that, an ambi multiuse mag pouch.

I second the recommendation for Gunner's Alley wholeheartedly. I ordered a lefty G-Code from them a few days ago and can say without a doubt that they provide the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Truely top notch.

As for the G-Code, I can't comment as I haven't received it yet (it's due tomorrow!), but I have heard nothing but good reviews about them.

Now why in the world would you think getting LH holsters is a problem? Seriously, several decades ago, I carried a Colt .38 Detective Special as my on duty weapon in the U.S. Army, even they had a holster for me.

Since then, I've carried a great deal of the time & never had a problem getting a holster for the gun I wanted to carry. Bianchi & Uncle Mike's make nylon. Idaho Leather Co., 18 South Orchard, Boise Idaho 83705 & Milt Sparks have both made me excellent leather at reasonable to downright cheap prices.

Just a tip. If you have the Bianchi nylon that fits the Ruger P90, it also carries the Ruger SP101 shorter barrel, no problem.

My current carry situation in an H&K USP compact .40 in a Milt Sparks Exec's Companion, on a Milt Sparks belt. The Exec's is an IWB & very comfortable as well as offering excellent concealment.

Since we are all southpaws here, let me urge you to look at the USP if you are thinking of getting a left friendly weapon. They also now offer ambidextrous operating levers, ie on both sides of the frame a la 1911 pattern guns. Cocked & locked with a hammer drop safety if you want it that way. NINE different operating options to choose from on a new order, what more could you want? Yeah, well cheaper, but get real. 900F
