I checked the library and couldn't find this one. Anyone care to explain for this shotgun novice?
Thanks,

I remeber a post about shirts with this being made. Did that ever happen, or was there little interest?

Is this a common saying, or only a THR thing? :)

Our very own Dave McCracken coined the phrase long ago. Probably started over on The Firing Line. It is most usually in response to what kind of add on goodies should I buy for my new home defense shotgun. Dave's wise and sage reply. BA/UU/R signifying that the best add ons are training and practice.

The acronym is a THR thang, but it's meaning is universal.

Yup, s'mine...
It's the best way to get good with a shotgun. Rather than adding bayonet/heatshield/extension/designer sights/runesofdoomwroughtby blackmages/tuck and roll naugahyde, just shoot the thing.
Once fit is OK and form is shaping, the best accessory is ammo.
I'm using a quote from Gene Hill on the Doing Your Homework 101 thread I'll repeat here. It's so apt it should be graven on a Tablet of Stone by a Finger of Fire.
"It's not the accumulation of technique that makes a decent field shot-it's the elimination of mistakes"......

I just derived my new 1,000 Round Creed from the BA/UU/R- no accessories (besides magazines, slings, or holsters) until 1,000 rounds have been fired.

This is why I love this place. Great people, good wisdom, fun to learn here.
Thanks all,

The only thing I would change is MA/UU/R. Make ammo, use up, repeat. I love to reload! ;)

But what about the t-shirts? Did the idea attract interest? Is it viable as a THR general interest item? This inquiring mind is inquiring. :)
