Anyone know any gun stores in Texas (esp. Central & East Texas) that specialize (or at least heavily stock) C&R guns like Enfields, M-N's, and Mausers?

All the ones I seem to frequent seem more focused on the latest "plastic fantastic" to keep any C&R in stock.... :(

(...and I'm not interested in getting a C&R FFL right now. Too much hassle for the few guns I can afford. :banghead: )

Thanks in advance.... :D

I have a small gunstore in Central Texas. I dont have much of that instock, but I can order anything you want from my distributors, who carry C&R guns. I also do inbound transfers for free, so if you find something somewhere else, you can have it shipped to me for free.

You might want to check out Hank Fleming, Gunsmith (http://www.hankgun.com) in Austin. He now has a small storefront store that carries older guns. He took over most of the inventory from Just Guns when it closed down a while back. He lists some guns on Gunbroker.com but has more than is on his webpage or auction listings.

DFW, but I thought it might help. They even have antiques.

General Firearms in Wimberley handles a lot of milsurp rifles. He mainly sells at gunshows, I believe, and doesn't actually have an official storefront.

Try Collectors Firearms (http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/). Its prices are high, but it may have what you want.
