Is the titanium finish on the P99 resistant to wear. I don't like a lot of holster wear, therefore I don't really want it in blue/black.

I dislike guessing about things for which I don't have specific knowledge ...
But ...
I asked someone at the factory once about this, and I thought they said it was a titanium nitride finish, which is fairly durable, corrosion-resistant and has some increased lubricity properties, if I remember right. The Walther manual simply refers to it as a titanium coating.
Don't quote me ... :uhoh:

I haven't carried my P99 Ti that much, but the only evidence of wear is that the coating gets shiny. After it's oiled and wiped down, you can't even see it :D
Since the Ti coating goes over a "white" slide that's been Tennifered, I wouldn't think you would be able to see any wear other than "shinyness" (is that a word :))

I've been carrying mine a lot since I got it last Feb. in a Fobus paddle, and there's been zero wear on the slide.

This is all good news. I just ordered my P99 Ti from CDNN.
