My dad has a Sigma and the trigger is so darn hard to pull. Is there any kits or services that would remedy the problem? :uhoh:

www.gunsprings.com

is a gunsmith that does trigger jobs for sigma search around to find.

btw the trigger pull is supposed to be like that heavy and deliberate

If the Sigma trigger seems to be growing harder to pull as you use it, not just its normal 8 - 10 lbs, I mean really heavy - you may need to use a good solvent under pressure to blast out the firing pin hole. The older Sigmas had a problem of allowing crud into the firing pin hole such that the striker mechanism gets blocked. If this is the problem, a few blasts with compressed air will clear it.

I got a .40 Sigma early on, and never did figure out how to get any accuracy out of it. The gun seems to shoot OK so far as barrel, etc., but I never was able to control the "twitch" when the firing pin releases. I never had that problem with the original version, which is called the Glock.
