I've been looking for a nice bipod, decided to go with a Versa-Pod,Parker Hale design.
It was easy to install & seem to be well made, just wondering if any of you have used one of these?

I've used one. How I would evaluate it really depends on how you intend to use it.

I have the all-steel version with the skid feet. It required some minor alterations with a Dremel for improved lockup in the deployed position. The new version with the two tension knobs seems to have a design improvement in that regard.

I like the fact that the stud can be mounted in the forend, leaving the rifle unencumbered when you're not using it. The bipod itself can ride in a pouch or clipped to a belt.

It's quite heavy in the steel version. Cant lockout is effectively impossible with the older version (without the tension knobs), and it does tend to "wiggle" more than the Harris.
