Hello folks. I purchased a Taurus Model 66 357 Magnum (new) about 6 months back. I put 5 or 6 boxes of mixed ammunition through it already (mixed meaning 38 and 357). Two weeks ago the wheel froze stiff to the axle part and now I can't get it to move freely. The wheel still drops out the side but will not spin. I tried brute force by hand and then tried a thick cloth wrap with channel locks, but it still won't budge. It's that frozen! Does anybody have a suggestion or two how to "home remedy" this problem? :(

Hope you didn't bend the yoke or crane with the channel locks!!!!!
Barring any manufacturing defect, it is probably dirt, gunk, powder fouling, old lube and bullet lube congealed and stuck in the yoke. I think a good soaking in solvent might loosen up the stuff. Varsol works pretty well, just put some in a container that has a lid and let it soak. The varsol should begin to dissolve the oil and penetrate deep into the crevices. Otherwise, a trip to a gunsmith or back to the factory is in order.

Or pull up their website and get the Miami address and instructions for sending to them. Took my friend's Rossi(all part of BrazTech)under 3 weeks turnaround for what sounds like the same problem except his was locked up so tightly it would not even open.
