What's the best scope and mount to put on a 10 1/2" bbl Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag? Gun use will be primarily hunting, but would be used for plinking and pest control as well.....

I have that exact same pistol. I brought mine to gander mountain, they used a weigand scope mount and drilled the frame to mount it.
I was warned that the clamp on types were difficult to keep tight. I also believe that mounting the scope to the frame and barrel isn't really the best set up, although this is probably less critical on a pistol vs. rifle.
I have a leupold M8 extended eye relief 2X scope that I bought w/ rings (which I think were also weigand) from another board. I am happy with it, it is bright and it is very light. You need light with the 10.5 inch barrel. If I had bought a new scope I may have got a variable magnification scope. I was thinking at the time that over 2X would be shaky on a pistol. Now I think I could get away with it, although the 2X is nice for closer shots.
I really have only put about 30 rounds or so through the set up, but it has worked well so far.
