Debating on Night Sights for BHP

I am planning on dropping my BHP practical off for some minor custom work so I can start carrying it. I plan on getting a XS standard 24/7 front sight as I like the great combination of a visible white ring with a glow in the dark center. My dilemma is the rear sight. I have the express rear on my XD and just find it ok. I really don’t want to put the express rear on a second gun. My first choice is the Novak ghost rear. Seems to be rather neat, gives fast acquisition but may be lacking in accuracy at farther distances. Second choice is heinie straight 8 rear. I have heard lots of good things about this one, but never used in conjunction with the xs standard dot. Final choice is just leave the practical rear sight on, and just get a tritium front sight. Input on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Also, if anyone has pictures of any combos of a xs 24/7 front with a different rear, please share.
Thank You

For me the XS night sight is fine :) . I have the Big dot on both of my BHPs (9 and 40), but the sights went on the 9 before the XS rear night sight was available.

B36 - Which rear sight are you using? I agree that the front XS sights are great, Im just looking for a good alternative to the rear sight. I have it on my XD-9, I just cant warm up to it.
Anyone have any experiences with different rear sights with the XS front? Doesnt have to be on a bhp, any recomondations from other platforms is fine. thanks!

Front sight works at night as well as day. Tritium front only. I even back out the painted dots on the rear.
There is, in my opinion, no reason for people to keep designing pistol rear sights. The classic Novak lomount is perfect. I have on all my guns where it fits.
