Does fouling in the cylinder of a revolver affect accuracy? The only difference I've found between a clean and dirty cylinder is that the empties eject a little easier when it is clean.

Build up in the cylinder mouth in front of the case can affect accuracy in much the same way as fouling in the bore can.

Fouling on the front face of the cylinder can alter the barrel-cylinder gap, which affects accuracy.
