Can anyone suggest a good IDPA holster for a Beretta Elite II? It has the heavier Brigadier slide and won't work in the standard holsters for a 92FS.

http://www.holsters.com model 5183 belt or 5181 paddle Leatham uses this brand holster. Their 560/561 are pretty popular and fit a lot of guns.

http://www.blade-tech.com their scabbard is pretty popular

http://www.comp-tac.com Lots of folks like their locking paddle

New rules coming out pretty soon though. The top two choices are conservative designs and likely will stay approved. Don't know about the third. Internet buzz goes both ways on that one.

Struck out at Holsters.com. Same problem, models you mentioned don't fit brigadier slides, but Blade-tech was a winner. They have holsters for the Elite II

Thanks

take a look at the A10 (they have 'em to fit your Elite/Brig slide)

IIRC, Ernest Langdon sells a suede lined kydex holster for the Elite/Brig. It's not listed on his website, but you can call/email him for more info www.langdontactical.com

I think the only Blade-tech that would work iand be IDPA qualified is their Belt Holster.

Well I shoot IDPA with the IWB and UCH (tuckable) ... maybe that DQ's me but they can't see it anyway :D

Nothing wrong with IWB's & IDPA. Still has to be behind the centerline though.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I'm going to get in tough with Ernst Langdon and see if he still offers the suede lined Kydex. Actually, Ernst did the trigger job on my Elite II, and he did a great job. I'm also thinking about changing sites from the black factory Novaks to either tritium 3 dot or High Vis, and Ernst can do that as well. But maybe I'll put that out on another thread.
