Here's a pic of my Model 4" Model 13, square butt original grips. They don't feel comfortable, to big/fat, but look great.

What can you folks recommend as wood grip options that look nice but you think are good feeling. I know it's a subjective term but give it a shot please.

I don't shoot the gun enough and sometimes would like to pack it on me but, these just don't give me the feel I like so I don't.

Thanks!

Oh, the barrel looks as shiney as the frame and cyclinder do, just not in the pic. :o

I use a slightly modified Craig Spegel design on K frames and Ruger Security Sixes, in smooth wood without finger grooves. Have used it many years. People with all kinds of hand sizes seem to like it very much. His Butler Creek/Uncle Mike's designs are good also but have the finger grooves.

I have used this grip since 1981 and never found anything better. Pretty, too.

When I bought my last model 64, it came with two pair of grips. One pair was the old Target style, the other was some kind of finger grooved combat grips. Both sets of grips are factory. The target grips didn't look right on my fixed sight .38, but the finger grooved looked right at home.

These would look quite nice on your .357.

Dienekes,

I've always wanted Speigel Boot Grips without the finger grooves. Are they a standard part of his line or do they have to be special ordered? Can you recommend a source? Also, do you have any pictures of yours?

Thanks

I like service stocks with a Tyler T. I have tried 25+ different grip setups and keep coming back to the old standard. IMO it looks good too, especially if you pick up an old set of diamond magna's (service stocks). They had grain, character, color, and DIAMONDS!!!!

Here is a pic of my K38, and the preferred grip setup for me. http://www.thehighroad.org./attachment.php?s=&postid=702153
