casting with 95/5 solder

I know the usual recipes, for using 50/50 bar solder, to alloy lead. My question is, now that 50/50 is so hard to find, (or expensive) in my neck of the woods, does anyone have good recipes using 95/5 solder? It is much easier for me to find, cheaply, (Im in the pipe trades). I use wheelweights for HG bullets, and need a little hardening for my Gas Checked rifle bullets. Thanx-

The tin in any solder makes the bullets fill out better and look shinier and the antimony makes them harder like peanuts in chunky peanut butter.
Add your solder to wheel weights as adding solder to softer lead is a waste of money.
Casting your bullets into deep water will make them harder.
Add any amount that suits you.
I have quite a supply of one pound to 5 pound blocks of solder up to 60/40 but will only sell it local to me in central Californnia because of shipping costs.
Check with your local scrap yards as you never know what you will find in a visit.

Yep! that's what I used to do when I would cast .357 or 30Cal, Drop them right out the mold into a 5Gal, bucket of cold water.
Most of my casting now is 45ACP
100% W/W lead is all I use!
The tire shop in town lets take all I want for free! He can't wait to get rid of it
