40 S&W 29 round mags for Glock, anyone making them?

I am seeing prices between $45 and $125 for the Glock Scherer 40 caliber magazines, is there anyone else who is going to be making them? A friend wants them to plink with. I have my 9mm Glock mags for 33 rounds on backorder from Midway USA, the price keeps on going up and up, glad I back ordered them. I was hoping Glock was going to release a 40 version too, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

Glock factory mags are back in production. try www.topglock.com. i think they had them for ~$30. they might be back ordered too though. i was not impressed with the Scherer mags. i'd rather wait for the Glock factory mags.

Glock factory mags for 40 S&W? Everyone I contacted said Glock is not producing any for that caliber. Only the 9mm ones are available, those are the ones I have backordered already.

Scherer is the only manufacturer I have found.

I am looking to purchase a couple of 29rds .40 cal Glock mags.

I have spoken with the Scherer Representative at a Gun Show in Florida and he specifically stated that they will keep making these mags because Glock WILL NOT be making one in this caliber. Scherer is going to keep the prices high or maybe raise them because they have a monopoly on these mags. Glock will only be making the 9mm for the G18, the fully auto version of Glocks 9mm handgun. So, if you can find any new mags for less then $80 buy it. The prices are unlikely to be going down in the near future. :cuss: Like I stated above, I am looking for the .40 cal mag also. Plese contact me.

Just a thought, but in many guns 9mm mags will feed 40 fine. Anyone tried using the G18 mags loaded with 40?

I would, but my mags which were supposed to be available last week, got push back again to middle of next month. :cuss:

So, should I order one for $35 or wait for the two I ordered for $14 each? :D

EDIT: Well, maybe I spoke too soon, the backorder just got moved into invoice and is supposed to ship...
