FWIW, the 7.62x25 surplus ammo from AIM surplus really does exist. After only 3 and a half months after I ordered it I came home tonight and found a case of it sitting on the front step. :)

Now if it will only warm up a little bit, I can go to the range and burn some up.

Let us know how that stuff shoots. Be careful though, some of that surplus 7.62X25 was loaded for the PPSH machine gun and is loaded to very high pressures.

Let us know if you have any problems with it. I wanted to order some, but was unsure of the quality.

Some of the surplus SMG ammo will have hard primers. They will fail to fire around 10% of the time, but usually will fire if you cock the hammer and try again.

That's my experience also, I bought a case of the Yugo surplus stuff awhile back (with the Cyrillic labels that looked like 'Metaka 7.62', it's pretty common stuff). Out of that case, the double-tappers were more like 20%. Very frustrating. I'm glad it's all gone.

couple of us blasted some through a cz52 this weekend, didn't see any problems... other than the 18 month wait... :p
