Question for the group:

Thought I'd try a box of COR-BON while at the gun show today. Upon inspection I notice the brass is Winchester.

Is this correct or did I get ripped?

I believe that CORBON buys the components from other manufacturers and then assembles them for resale. I am pretty sure that is normal.

Others here will know for sure.

I've seen a variety of brass loaded by Cor-Bon

Cor-Bon headstamped
Starline
Remington (.32acp)

I haven't seen Win brass, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Hello. I've got some with the Winchester markings on the cases, too.

yeah, my box & 1/2 of .40 is stamped COR-BON on the back of the brass case.

My 38spl and 357 mag is stamped cor-bon.

of 38SPECIAL and 357MAG ammunition with WIN headstamped brass.
There is also a lot of 38SPL's out there we've loaded with R-P brass recently.
Sometimes we just have to take the brass we can find and be darned glad to get it.

Thank you for the replies, BTW the ammunition in question is the 38SPL+P.

That makes me feel better, I bought some last month that also said Winchester on it (38 Spec. +p) and thought I might have been ripped too. The other Cor-bon I have is 9mm, marked Cor-bon.
