Has anyone tested these for expansion?

The price is pretty good, and if they expand like a cast or swaged hollow point, but stay in one piece, they could be excellent. I'm thinking about the 180 grain bullets in a .40 S&W where the velocities are going to be inder 1000 fps.

They are not "real" HPs, just bullets with a cylindrical hole in the tip. They hole is plated all the way down and there are no expansion cuts. It's hard to explain without a photo, which I could post when I get home.

If you're interested in an inexpensive plated HP check out the Rainiers, Midway has photos. They're quite a bit more than the Berry's, but still substantially less than Winchesters or Remingtons.

I loaded some Berry .357 bullets to about 1400 fps and shot water filled plastic jugs. They were 125 gr HP.
They expanded violently.
