CDNN has used Sigs with mismatched slides and frames. Does this make any real difference? They are only asking 299.00 ea. for 220's and 226's.

I posted this in the wrong section. Moderator please fix. Sorry and thanks.

It probably doesn't matter much since they are not hand fit. Though, the price for the normal used ones is only a little more.

IME, if they are used mismatched slides and frames, then yes, could be a big difference, as over time, the slides and frames develop wear patterns to each other. Question is, "How used are they?" The more used, the more specific the wear patterns will be, especially on aluminum frames. If you have the chance to select and fit various slides and frames prior to purchase, then that will go a long way to help find a set that seems to fit well with each other with less play / slop, etc.
