Does anyone know of any where you can get info on discontinued or vintage Smith and Wessons?

Thanks.

For a start, go to: www.armchairgunshow.com

Also buy a copy of the book: "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson (Second Edition)" by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas. Then almost anything you might want too know will be at your fingertips.

You might try the Smith & Wesson Forum. www.smith-wessonforum.com The have a section for S&W's prior to 1945 and another section for 45 to current.

It appears to be down right now but it's usually up and running fine.

Ditto on www.smith-wessonforum.com. There are quite a few knowledgable posting members including Jim Supica, co-author of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. The 'Search' function doesn't work in some of the forums but the site is being upgraded. :)
