Okay I don't want to damage the gun, and I heard that fanning is bad. Can ruger SA's be thumbed without damage? I may be a little nit picking here
but upon some close inspection the transfer bar seem to tilt away from the
frame on the left side of it slightly. That is it tilts toward me slightly on the
side of it that is not attached to the frame. Has anyone else noticed this
, is it something to worry about?

fanning is real hard on your gun it will eventually break. the tilted transfer bar is normal.
