I have just received an email from the folks that recommended sending phone cards to the wounded at Walter Reed.
Due to the tremendous outpouring Walter Reed is now OVERWHELMED by phone cards and request no more be sent until at least March 2005. They will be sharing the excess with Bethesda and Fisher House.
So for those of you who participated, a hearty THANKS from this High Roader!
It has been requested that anyone wishing to continue supporting our troops visit the web address to follow for listings of Troop Support Charities. This is a newly established site and is attempting to link as many troop support websites as possible so if you find your way their and know of any good support links, please pass them along
