I can't count on my family for this kind of stuff, so I got myself two presents. The twins :D :D :D
Both are toys from AIM surplus. Nice nice nice.
December 24, 2004, 11:11 PM
I provided a list of online items and some catalogs with page and item numbers. Will find out in about 12 hours if I'm getting anything appropriate for this thread. Hopefully will be able to repost tomorrow :)

I have it on very good authority that I'll be receiving a S&W 610 (I know because I bought it) and an Arsenal SAM-7 Classic (I know because I've already been told about it). I'm pretty stoked about the Classic.
December 25, 2004, 12:31 AM
Got the gun (a P-3AT, BTW) a few weeks ago as an early Christmas gift. I bought the holster as a 'necessary' gift-to-myself of sorts; just got it yesterday!
December 25, 2004, 01:30 AM
After appropriate hints, my wife 'bought me' a K-31 from AIM. After I gave it a good cleaning and a little load development, she wrapped it up and put it under the tree. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Well, my wifes' grandfather gave me $140 for my birthday(23rd) and Christmas gifts, so I used my C&R to order a CZ52 from Centerfire Systems. I used the left-over money to get some ammo.
My in-laws gave me a set of Peltor Tac-6S electronic ear-muffs for my birthday.
When I opened presents this morning, I found an i-SHOT revolver range bag (http://ishot-inc.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=51), $300 in gift certificates to the local gun store, and a Ruger MkII. Oh, and a copy of the movie Collateral on DVD.
December 25, 2004, 03:00 AM
Doesnt anyone wait untill Christmas MORNING before they open the presents? I have no idea what I got yet.
Duke of Lawnchair
December 25, 2004, 03:04 AM
Christmas morning is 57 minutes away.
My fiance and I will be exchanging presents at midnight.
Merry Christmas and God bless all of you mugs (irregardless if you want his blessings or not).

Earlier tonite, I opened a set of these electronic ear muffs from BIL. I have wanted some of these for some time. Very nice. :D
I suppose I could qualify this. I got my first centerfire rifle, a Savage 110 in 7mm mag. It would have cost me $30.25 (NIB), but my roommate actually paid for it since I was flat broke, then told me to consider it my Christmas present. I'm happy. See yonder thread (http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=117256) for details on how I pulled this off.
Doesn't really show the rifle that well, but she ain't much to look at anyway... :D
And FYI, that was taken with my camera on a timer. At no time was any human covered by the muzzle. I don't mess with that crap.

My grand fathers old Luger. It is DWM luger, made in 1915, all original parts, numbers are correct, in quite good condition considering the circumstances. (The gun has seen both, winter and continuation war because my grand father served as an officer back in the late 30s and early 40s) My father found the gun recently, and since my grand father died 20 some years ago (Sort of a christmas gift beyond the grave!), and we thought he had sold the gun, it was pretty much illegal (No paperwork). I took it to police station (on sunday afternoon!! ), and they called me three hours later, and told me to come and get my now legal firearm. :) My father told me my grand father won the gun in shooting competition in 20s.
December 25, 2004, 09:25 AM

December 25, 2004, 09:30 AM

BTW, it came with the original leather holster and a extra magazine, that has a wooden bottom.(?) Holster has markings "Mainz 1915".

Me and the family are exchanging gifts this afternoon...Since I am the "Black SHeep" I doubt that I will get anything...GRRRRRRR!!!.. :cuss:
My daughter is at her mothers this christmas, so I have to wait until Jan. 2 for her Christmas...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Girlfriend is Jewish, so we will not be exchanging gifts today...Ya just never think about easter egg hunting and Christmas presents when ya decide to go after a tall Jewish nurse..
I just dont like Christmas as much as I once did for some reason...
December 25, 2004, 10:46 AM
I think 8balls gift is fantastic, but I think Rembrandt got the best gift of all: His son home for Christmas! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v196/mosinfan/hooyah.gif
My BD is the 13th, so I combined it and Christmas to get myself this:
 And his six-year-old brother got a box of .22 Super Colibris to shoot in Daddy's .22 revovler! :)
Wishing all a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Bogie's Bunker has received, over the past month or so, a sonic and aesthetic upgrade.
Moving the equipment rack to a "hole in the wall" that will become a built in control center.
I'm up to two Hafler DH-500 amps, one Hafler DH-225, and the Denon 2803. Ordered four more 15" subwoofers. Got bass?
My friend Kay gave me _two_ Gulf War I camoflage nets, which are currently in the garage awaiting a trip to some poor laundromat to remove the desert dust. One's going to be used on perimeter walls, and the other will go in the Knob Creek bin. May try putting it on the ceiling, but not sure about that.
Still waiting on two benchrest actions... sigh...

Here's my Merry Christmas to me gun. It's a Smith & Wesson Performance Center PC1911. I was lucky enough to find a pair of them sequentially numbered JMB002X. I dig the serial number prefix.
My wife got me a 3 inch S&W 624, 44 spl, round butt. I 'm all excited that I'm already set up to reload 44 spl. I have 100 rounds already made up to take to the range tomorrow and try her out.
I gave my wife the S&W 3913 LadySmith she's been dreaming of for months.
December 26, 2004, 05:21 AM
got some new ear muffs, glasses and a 100 box of 9mm. Plus some $$$ which will probably go towards firearms in some form.
December 26, 2004, 02:15 PM
My hubby (madkiwi) got me this:
Here's what he posted elsewhere about it:
It is a Baikal DROZD BB gun. Uses 6 AA batteries for the fire-control (solenoid activation) and 12 gram CO2 cylinders for motive power. It fires standard copper clad BBs in single, 3 or 6 round bursts at up to 500 fps. Rate of fire is 300, 450 or 600 rpm.
We took it out on the hill behind our house and besides going through BBs at a prodigious rate, IT IS DAMN FUN!!! At 600 rpm it sounds like a sub-gun, although admittedly a lot quieter. It is a serious plinker though, and tears up a soda can at 30 feet with great accuracy (recoil is on the minimal side of nothing).
December 26, 2004, 02:39 PM
New (to me) Yugo SKS
And I scoped out my Ruger 10/22
Going to shoot both tomorrow, I hope....http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=19245
December 26, 2004, 06:13 PM

December 26, 2004, 06:24 PM
I haven't rec'd or unwrapped a gift for any "gift giving day" since '97.
I did buy a small spray can of G96 and a can of CRC Brakleen...I had some locks to clean and remove the WD40 and graphite "lapping compound"...something to do on the 25th, and the freezing temps , ice and snow was causing some problems with the locks and hinges around where I stay sometimes.
Guns? Nah....I figure come '05 I'd actually clean my CCWs and change carry loads...maybe.
December 26, 2004, 07:35 PM
I got a S&W 1911 SC Scandium framed compact pistol
from my offspring. Presented to me at dinner last night along with 200 rounds of brass Blazer ammo. It was a complete surprise to me!
December 26, 2004, 08:36 PM
Where do you get them?
December 27, 2004, 05:37 PM
I'll have to get madkiwi to post the link.
Edit: Nevermind. I found the links.

Finally got my Christmas preasent. Christmas morning I was given the money to buy an AR15. Picked one up tonight. A friend was looking to sell one to fund another gun, an I was looking to buy. So here is my "new" Bushmaster XM15 E2S. My first AR. It is a former post ban so a little surgery to the muzzle is being planned.
It really is gun related, I got it to take better pictures of guns.

well i got nothing gun related as of yet. i was hoping to get enough money to get a suppressed Walther P22, but a couple weeks ago my stereo reciever died on me, so i will be usuing the money to get a new 6.1 Surround Sound System.
I still have to go visit my dad and i asked for some wood grips for my 226 so hopefully i got them but i don't leave to visit him until the 3rd.
Was wrapped and under the tree.
December 29, 2004, 03:48 PM
A couple of years ago I was given a DWM 9mm Luger made in 1910. Nowdays I am given money for Christmas and this year I purchased a S&W model 49. I am grateful for getting anything for Christmas. I thought Santa would be mad at me because I shot Rudolph a couple of years ago during deer season! :D
December 29, 2004, 11:18 PM
Wow 8Balls - I'm jealous! NICE looking gun! :D
December 29, 2004, 11:43 PM
8balls, Nice. I love my Lugar, great pistols.
I got out of lay-a-way (yesterday) my XM15 E2S (the same one that DWS got, nice AR man). It came with a Colt 7.62 upper and the .223 (I don't wish to use Pre-ban) normal upper.
As soon as I get batteries for my camera I'll post pics.
December 31, 2004, 12:47 AM
8balls.........WOW! That is very nice. If possible, please post more pictures. There really is a Santa Claus and he stops in Finland!
December 31, 2004, 01:14 AM
Here's my Christmas present to myself, an unissued Yugo SKS from AIM (to keep my shooter SKS company in the safe):
And here's the bubbafied Mosin my wife got me from a local gunshop. She completely surprised me. It's a '36 Tula. It will make an awesome brush gun, and I may end up putting a scout scope mount and scope on it just for kicks:
Zrex, the elves at the BATF gave me my present yesterday:
It's about time I shoot it since I have about $8k into it! :p
December 31, 2004, 07:14 AM
