I have been reading the 1911 posts here with interest for several months now. This forum has been extremely helpful. Could someone post a check list of things to look for when examining a 1911 that you are considering buying? With quality control on new guns being what it is today, and so many "experts" that work on 1911s, a good checklist would be useful to keep from buying a lot of trouble. If this has already been done could someone point me to it? Thanks.
