Is there a plug in this tube that can be removed to increase cartridge capacity? I have a trapper in .357 and am wondering if there is an easy way to fit another .357 mag (not 38 spl) cartridge into the magazine. Regards. Lawboy

I don't think so.

I've removed the end plug from the tube on my .44 Trapper to clear a round trapped under the carrier (I think that's why they called it the "Trapper" :rolleyes: ). All that comes out is the end plug, spring and follower. The tube is straight through. I had to conclude the spring is going solid when round #10 is about halfway in. You could cut the spring down, but that might affect reliability when it's down to the last round or two.
