I was wasting time at one of our local shops and noticed an unusual shotty. It was a remington, definitely not an 870 but a pump 12 guage none the less. Wood was decent, bluing was gone but the action seemed pretty slick.
What was it, should I buy it and how much is it worth? Sorry I don't have any more details, but I just picked it up and flipped it around.

If it was a Model 31, it's one of the best pumps ever made, on a par with the Model 12. Buy it.
If it's the even older 10, it's a little tempermental, antiquated and hard to keep going.

I'll have to get back up there and check it over a little more. Thanks Dave.

Is it a take-down gun?
