Stevens shotguns

Did Stevens go out of business entirely or were they absorbed by another company? And how were their products in overall quality? Never seen one myself and was curious.

Don't know their full history, but there were more then a handful of good shotguns put out by them. The 520 and 620 come to mind (stupidly sold my 520, but still have my 620A). They also made a very popular double (I think it's 311).

I'm not certain of the affiliation with Savage, but the two companies are connected. I also seem to recall Stevens makes firearms for Sears, but that's before my time as well.

Savage owns the Stevens, Fox, and the old-time Springfield names.
