Well, I've got the M3 for my Glock 22. I didn't think paying double the price for the M6 was worth it.

It's handy, for sure. I slip it on my Glock 22 before going to bed at night. It's a lot more convenient than the 4-D cell Maglite I used to use, and just as bright.

There are a couple of drawbacks. One, you may not be comfortable "flagging" someone or something with your weapon if you simply want to illuminate it. The manual recommends "bouncing" the light off of the floor or wall rather than point the weapon directly at the target. I tried this, and it works.

Two, it doesn't carry very well as a pocket flashlight. I kept worrying that I'd activate the momentary switch and run down the battery by accident. I plan on buying a Fobus holster to assuage this concern.

I've got one mounted on an HK USP .45 full size. It's my nightstand gun. I also put it on my SIG P220ST occasionally.

Seems very well made, and I like the controls. I haven't actually used it very much though.

Had one and sold it. The laser is essentially (IMO) worthless for precision shooting, since the M6 has a bit of lateral play on the rails. Even 1/16" of an inch translates to inaccuracy at anything but point-blank ranges.

If you want a laser for purely intimidation, go with an M6.

If you want one for functionality? Crimson Trace.

I've heard some people say theirs were loose too. Mine's very tight. In fact, at first it was a real pain to get on and off. (I'm using the GG&G rail adaptor for my USP f)
Now it's still tight, but not as tight as when I first put it on.

I'm sure it's a case of manufacturing tolerances between the light and the guns. Try before you buy. I guess I got lucky with mine. I hope mine doesn't get any looser.
