What kind of choke does the Super X2 have on it? Is it a select choke or do you have to remove the choke tubes?

It is interchangeable choke tubes, and the gun comes with 3. Improved Cylinder, Modified and Full.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the Super X2 take the Invector Plus choke tubes by Browning?
IIRC, one of my neighbors shoots a Browning 325, BPS and Super X2, and once told me that they can all use the same tubes.
Then again, you could probably get any choke tube to go in to any barrel if you twist it hard enough. Getting it back out might be a problem, though.

Yes, they do in fact use the Invector Plus chokes, as do the Ruger shotguns.

Thought the newer Ruger shotguns used Briley chokes which was different from the Browning system.
Been avoiding Red Labels lately--every new one I pick up seems to have the dreaded rib buzz. Seems like Red Label quality has taken a nose dive in the last year or two for some reason.
Thinking about a name change:( lol

Ruger factory chokes are made BY Briley under contract that part is true, they are the same as the Invector + outside dimensions. Threads and all. There could be some internal differences in taper etc, the measuring equipment I have here at home is not capable of finding that accurately, as it would only need to be 10% different.....
