Looking for info on a 12 ga., double bbl. here are the known facts : Montgomery Ward & Co. is stamped on the top rib. No other model numbers or names are present. Ser # is 89xxx.. We do know the gun is at least 75 years old. 32" full bbls. Internal hammers. 2 triggers. Can anyone tell us who actually made this shotgun and just how old it is ?..Thank you much for any assisstance.

Without some kind of name or model number, you just aren't going to find out. Same bunch that made them for Western Field made them for Monkey Wards.

Most likely made by Savage or Stevens. If older than no isea. I don't believe Cresent made any for Wards. Would have to do some research on that.
