But then again neither is much of the other war-related stuff, so can it stay up?
There's gonna be a student walk out at 1200 tomorro at my HS and (if you believe the local Young Communist Party... err amnesty international/world affairs club--which I don't, as a rule) other schools across the country. Has anyone else heard about this? Is anyone doing this?
Personally I'm thinking about using the school TV station to broadcast any anti-saddam material I can find on the net... I saw a poster comparing him to Hitler, and now its in power point form, and there's other stuff out there...

If you have the ability to broadcast on the school's station it would be interesting if you could interview or debate some of the protesters.
Stay up tonight and get prepared. Have plenty of facts as well as counterpoints to the anti's generic arguments.
Pick average students, not the few that are leaders. Is this fair?
Yes: You want to find out what the typical protester thinks and, more importantly, KNOWS about the Iraq situation. These students are taking a stand; if they can support their position, you will be giving them the opportunity to get their message across. If they can't, you will show that.
Again, DON"T interview the one-percent of students that have a clue. They are NOT an accurate representation of the student body.

If you can get this broadcast, it could give you something to flaunt on your college entrance application.

Good luck,

There was a high school that staged a walkout a couple weeks ago. About 15%-20% of the student population joined in. Each of those participants were charged w/ being truant and their parents were notified. If the school district weren't so PC, they should've been expelled!

Like true sheeple, they turned and resumed their classes when faced with authority.

I didn't hear about this until today. There wasn't any discussion that I heard about this at my university. I've calculated that I pay $50 everytime I walk into a classroom, so I'm not about to leave for a patriotic rally (short of a farewell for a family member shipping out), much less BS like this. I don't think anybody cared!
