Well I tired this on another forum ( that will remain unnamed ) that deals strictly with AKs and every thing about them but because I'm new there and have not contributed any money to their site I'm not allowed to post any pics. And it seems like everyone is ignoring me even though i gave a very good written description of the mags them selfs.


So is there anyone that could please help me?

These mags came back from Iraq with a large amount of other mags and drums. They are made of aluminum for 7.62 x 39. The weird thing about these mags is that the spine on the back of the mag is not in the center like every other mag out there its all the way on the far right side. I've never seen any other mags like this before. Please and thank you for any and all help.

I think they're mags for the Czech VZ-58, not the AK-47. The guns look very similar (and both fire 7.62x39), but they function differently.

Wow i dont think i've ever hurd of that rifle. So if these are the mags for that kind of rifle are they worth any more or less, are they harder to find?

Ok now that we got that knocked out ( Thanks guys ) I just need to find out if there really worth anything. They mite be worth something to some one. :D

Probably not much. You can buy a whole Vz.58 parts set with 4 mags, pouch, and cleaning kit for around $170.

There might be a bit of a market for them, as Ohio Ordnance (http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/vz2000/vz.htm) is selling new-manufacture VZ-58s (called VZ-2000s). I don't know of any place that stocks them, though, so I don't know what they might be worth. You might try calling Ohio Ordnance and asking them.
