Scope for O/U combo gun

I just got a IZH94, which is a 12ga over, and 6.5 Swed under and I am looking for suggestions on a scope for this gun. It has to be tough enough to survive the shotgun recoil, and 1" to fit the limited number of scope rings available for this gun. Something not too expensive since I doubt this thing will turn out to be a tack driver when I get it to the range. Any ideas?

1) Something with LOTS of eye relief.
2) A low powered variable, 1-3X or so. There are some good ones available.
3) Prepare to be surprised. It is likely to be more accurate than you think.
4) Even with lots of eye relief, don't crowd that glass.

I agree. Take a look at the Simmons Pro Diamond 2X or 4-9X. You should be able to fin'd 'em for about $70 - $100. Eye relief is 5.5" and they were originally marketed to turkey hunters. If that was their target audience then I'd assume they can stand up to the punishment that some of the heavy turkey loads can dish out.

Any shotgun scope with extended eye relief and internals designed to take the beating of 3" magnum slug loads.
This type of scope will handle the 6.5 Swede loads just fine and allow you to use it with the shotgun too.
I like Burris scopes for these applications and Leupold is great if you want to spend the money.
Consider the Simmons if it is one of the older, better made versions.
The Chinese made scopes present more problems than they are worth in dollar value.
