I need a new belt, and Rafter S is looking like the one. But I am not sure about the size 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 what is the difference? Is one more comfortable than the other? I have 1 holster that will only work with the 1 1/4 but the others would work with either. My current belt is 1 1/4 (bought at gun show)
Thanks

1 1/2 seems to be the most common and easiest to find used holsters for. It is important to match the belt to holster width. Some belt loops are not wide enough for 1.5 but I only have a couple slacks with that problem.

I have a Rafter S in 1.25" and a Gunner's Alley gun belt in 1.25". I chose that width because I do have some pants that won't fit a 1.5" and I don't want to have to worry about that when I'm clothes shopping. They both work very well and my Comp-Tac C-TAC is fitted for 1.25" belts. Having said that if you have no reason NOT to go 1.5" then go 1.5".

If you go 1.25" you might want to consider the Gunner's Alley gun belt because it's a bit stiffer possibly due to the fact that it's made of bullhide...I don't know. The Rafter S is a little bit better crafted and there's more attention to detail but it's not as stiff. Both are excellent belts and you can't go wrong with either. They both are very stable and hold the gun and holster well.
