Sometime last year, I think, there was a change in the way Leupold let retailers advertise prices on their scopes. I believe that they required that all retailers list only the MSRP and not the actual prices they were selling it for. Is this still in effect? I ask because I notice that all the major scope retailers (SWFA, Bear Basin, Midway, etc.) all list the same price and they all seem HIGH! Do I just call them for an actual price or is that the real price? :uhoh: Thanks!

Has anybody bought a Leupold on-line lately?

Retailers are not permitted to advertise Leupold products at less than MSRP as set forth by Leupold.

What's the secret, WA? That Leupold had to change its line of scopes from the VariX to the VX because everybody else was catching them and passing them? Or do you just mean MSRP?

It does like like prices went up though. Midway used to sell the 3.5-10x40mm Mark 4 M1 and M3 with mildot for $691 (dealer discount). Both are up to $722 now.
