Can anyone give the major difference between the Aimpoint CompC and the ML2. The ML2 has a "special hard anodized surface," and is billeda s the heavy duty version of the CompC. How much more heavy duty is the ML2?

Is it worth the extra money one would lay down??

If the difference is can be submerged 75 meters instead of 50 then I would think that in a pinch (money or emergency) the CompC would be fine. If the difference is between a Ford and Ferrari then it is worth the money.

Can anyone shed some more light for me?

IMO, the Comp C is closer to a Ferarri than a ford but, I know what you mean.

I don't know how you will use it but, I think it is more than adequate for the average heavy hunter and frequent shooter. In other words get the Comp C unless your loaded.

the redesign on the Aimpoint M2's was to address the bored soldiers propensity to unscrew the body

now its one piece and has extended run time with a new diode

i have a 25 dollar simmons red dot on my paintball marker
it takes a licking
