I managed to keep my wallet in my pocket for the most part today. But there's some good deals in the used case at Green Mountain Guns in Lakewood if anyone is interested. I noted:

Ruger Super Redhawk, Target Grey, in .454 for $450
SIG P245 for $400
Ruger SP101 .357 for $275
Rock Island 1911 for $225
HK USP c .45 for $499
Norinco SKS for $175
Winchester 94 with scope for $250
H&R Topper 12G for $60

There were more, but those were the ones that got my interest.

What's the address to this place? I'm moving to lakewood in two weeks(that's syncronicity for ya). Any other good stores out there? And where do you go to shoot rifle/pistol?

Spacecowboy,

Welcome to Lakewood! I've been in CO since 92, and I love it!

Here's the address for Green Mountain:

Green Mountain Guns
11078 W Jewell Ave # B4
Lakewood, CO 80232
(303) 985-7240

IMHO Green Mountain has the best combination of selection and prices for new and used stuff.

If you want the best prices go to Tom & Joe's. He's got a tiny, and I mean TINY shop, with not a whole lot in stock, but you won't beat his prices anywhere 99% of the time. He does a ton of business through huge volume.

Tom and Joe's Firearms
12627 West 32nd Avenue
Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

I usually shoot at K2 when I want an indoor range

For outdoor I simply head up to the mountains and shoot in the National Forest. I go up to a place called "Elk Park" which is about an hour from Lakewood, near Black Hawk. I'll give you directions if you want em. (Too much snow up there now though, have to wait till Spring for that area)

Green Mountain has easily the best consignment case in the metro area. Lots of junk of course, but plenty of great deals too.
