I have seen a suppressor on an 870, but have no idea who made it (this was on a video); I can see a number of problems with this setup, which probably explains why they're not a very popular item.

30 years ago in the bad old days I(illeagally) cobbled up a .410 with a 1/2" ID motorcycle spark arrestor type deal. I used the adj choke threads after I welded the choke part into can for a coupling. It did cut the sound back to a loud cough type noise if I used some weak old 2 1/2" shels. With fresh 3" shells the sonic 'crack' was there but total report was still quieter. Of course this no-no was destroyed 25 years ago when I found out ATF was serious.
