what's a good price on these??

looking to possibly get one in the next few months, and want to make sure i don't get ripped.

prices i've seen so far run in the $400+ range (ie $4-490)

I've seen used ones in the $275-$375 range depending on condition. New, I've see them regularly at the $450 point.

$450 is about what i figured.
in the past 3 years i have not seen a used slabside MkII. doesn't matter much anyway b/c i want a NIB one anyway.

i've wanted one for a while now. i grew up on ruger firearms and actually stand to inherit a Ruger .22 (it don't say MKI or Mk II anywhere, except for the black eagles signifying that it was made after Alex strum died it looks like the original versions). when my father passes (may that day be long in comming!!) but even when i DO get dad's .22 i'll want one that WORKS, after at least 35 years that pistol is a bit cranky, adn i haven't found an affordable source for a new magazine yet.

Mine was $399 new. I've seen a couple of used ones at about $350.

I got my new slabside last summer for $369 from a local dealer. It was on sale. I'm not sure what they are priced at now.
