I am the happy owner of a brand new Century Arms (hi-cap) WASR-10. It shoots fine, no trigger problems that I noticed. Now what do I do with it?

Where can I get a good folding stock? What about optics? What do you like for AK's? What's the best sling?

What are those odd looking tools in the cleaning kit?

Romo folders are decent and were available at FAC for a time, among others. As for slings, I've got one of the FAL para slings on my AK folder, available from

Heck yeah, shoot the crap out of it! I changed the blonde wood for a darker kind and have been doing my best to melt the barrel off of it! Excellent gun. :cool:

For optics, a great many AK owners, including myself, use and recommend a Kobra red dot sight.

Recommended AK accessories:

* Hungarian 20 round AMD-65 mags. I like them better than the longer 30s. I got mine from Tapco.

* A red dot sight. I have a PK-01V on my Bulgarian AK. I got it from Freedomoptic.com.

* Massive quantities of ammo! Wolf is cheap and runs fine in AKs. Ammoman currently has some nicer, recent vintage Portuguese stuff.
