Peltor Tac 6

What is the padding on the muff made of? Is it some sort of gel material? How well do they meld around your eye protection stems? do you get crazy red lines on your temples after a while?

I have a pair to Peltor Tac6s hearing protectors and they are very comfortable. I am not sure what the padding is made of but I believe it is just foam. I have never really noticed any discomfort between the ear pads and my shooting glasses. I initially purchased the behind the ear strap but found it to be not very secure. I contacted Peltor and they sent me a pair of fold down straps to remedy the problem. Tac6s have come down quite a bit over the past 2 years. I purchase my protectors from www.cheaperthandirt.com last summer for $60 (?) and haven't had a problem with them.
