The daily survey at howstuffworks.com asks "Have you ever shot a gun?"

69.7% Yes
30.3% No

I would have thought i'd be higher...

It's kind of cool to see a (somewhat) un-bias survey like that though

I've found that many people that I would have thought to have shot a gun never have. That is when I would invite them over to try it (haven't done so in about 6 years now :( ).

I have ran into the "I'm afraid of guns" people that would drive so badly or recklessly that I was amazed that they were still alive, but they weren't afraid of the car or other cars around them.
