someone gave me 3 30 rd AR mags. they are grey, and on the bottom it says "kay industries inc, new britian, conn usa"

are these good mags?

What color are the followers? If black, substitute green followers at a couple of bucks a pop. Better feeding/reliability, IMO. While you're at it, replacing the springs with an aftermarket product like Wolff's will make them better, too.

OTOH, if they work in your rifle(s), what the heck?!

I've got a couple of these that I bought at a surplus store a few years back, and they work GREAT !
