Got one of these as a gift and its pretty bright! Ive never owned a nice flashlight like a Surefire before. How do you think this will hold up? I think it had 120 something lumens. I sure hope it will last, if so its really nice? Anyone have any experience with these?

I personally don't have any experience with them, but if you do a search for "coast cutlery" over on >> CPF << (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/ubbthreads/search.php?Cat=) , you'll find a good deal of info on them.. ;)

Thanks for the link. Oh it was 126 OPI not lumens. What the heck is 126 OPI's? Is that good compared to surefire?

I have that selfsame flashlight! Well, I do, assuming you've got the version that's got the one "1.25 watt LED" in the center of the reflector. I think it's one of those Luxeon side-emitting ones, but there's no way to take the bezel apart to tell.

I like it, it's pretty darn bright; in moderately bright conditions (school cafeteria lit with lots of flourescent lighting) from about 5-6', it still makes people squint, and in darkness or night, it's nigh-impossible to see the person holding the light while they've got it on your eyes, and it hurts to look at from about ten feet on it.

I think it's a slick little light. Now, I just gotta finish the lanyard I was making for it.. (mine didn't come with one)

Mine came with the little nylon sheath, but I tossed it, and the Burning Flashlight of Doom +3 rides in my Maxpedition FatBoy Manpurse in its little tool sheath.
