just got my Taurus 450 ti. This is a Keeper. Seems like best all around, Concealed carry, home defense for all. Any thought from those who have had this one would be appreciated. Thanks :)

I have a Taurus 455 Ti I purchased recently. Here's my post on getting it. (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=112323)

Free hand mine shoots to the left. It's regulated for 185 grain bullets it seems. 230 gr PMC shot quite high and to the left. I think the gun is torquing as the rifling starts to spin the bullet becuase it's so light and that's what's throwing the rounds to the left. The more of a death grip and rest I have it on the less it tends to shoot left.

It could be the heavy trigger causing me to use too much trigger finger too. I put a spring kit in to lighten the double action trigger pull a bit and that should help tighten my groups up with it.

I'm pretty happy with it overall, no plans on ditching it soon :)

Very nice looking gun jeepster. I had the .44SPL version myself.

I just hope your expience is better than mine. Mine developed problems with the transfer bar after about 3 months and needed to be sent back. Trying to deal with Taurus customer service was an exercise in frustration. Won't own another Taurus because of it.
