I have received several e-mails regarding my putting a Beeman 2.5X scope on a rimfire rifle. Please find the enclosed photo of how it looks. That's young Mr. Flory, fresh from his bank job, modeling for us in the library, er, I mean, home office of the Fashionable Bachelor Pad.

Check out the tactical black pants and shoes. No wonder his bank co-workers dig him.:)

A banker and a lawyer in the same room with firearms? ET (phone home) your membership in the ACLU may be in jeopardy.
:D

FWIW, I've had some learned folks tell me that the air rifle scopes are very tough and an under used resource.

:scrutiny: That looks like someone in front of MY bookcase. Lucky for youse guys, I've been at home this evening. :) And I have three more bookcases...

Scary isn't it!? Not only am I a banker I'm yet another low man on the gunhandling totem pole: a college student! Its scary just thinking about it

El Tejon,
I use a Beeman SS3 1.5x4 on my MP5. I've used it on my HK91 too. Beeman makes a great little scope. Its a nice small package on an HK ARMS quick detach scope mount.

airgun scopes on my .22 squirrel rifles, 'cause their parallax is set at 50 yds. A Beeman Blue Ribbon and a BSA. They work great.

Nice hardwood floors and bookcases. Like Tamara says, not enough books. When you have books piled horizontally atop of the vertical ones and then more on the floor, you've got just about enough. I really need to build another bookcase.

Not enough books? His bookcase goes from ceiling to floor and covers an entire wall. That's not even counting his office...

Yeah Yeah, I'm jealous :D

Gary, floor is cherry and bookcases are oak. 1st owner had put indoor/outdoor carpet and then shag on top of white oak floors in that room.:( Apparently it was the style at the time, I wore an onion on my belt when I caught the ferry to Shelbyville which in those days was called . . . .

My compliments on your library. Very tastefully done and like yourself, I hate shag carpets.

Oak? Very good! I used 3/4" plywood (AB) and still haven't put any trim on it to cover it yet. I had to get the books off the floor to get floorspace and right now, I've filled all 5 of the cases I built (and that excludes the 6 that I already have and the gun cabinet that was converted into a bookcase). Next time I'm building 3 of which one will be floor to ceiling and two will be about 40" tall - just up to the ledge where the ledge to ceiling bookcases are. Illiterates don't have our problems. :D
