I have a set of thin stocks that I would like to use on my Norinco 1911. If this were not a Norinco I would just buy a set of shorter bushings. Unfortunately Norincos have metric threads. Are there any short bushings available with metric threads? If not then what other options do I have? Thanks.

If you can't find a replacement, file 'em down.

If you can get them out, you can re-tap them for SAE and lok-tite the short ones in. The easy way would be to file them down.
