Guys, another option for daily carry since you need to schelp your PC back and forth ;)

We've had a lot of request from folks who have expressed the need for a laptop bag that will also serve as a holster for their daily carry. It took us a tad bit of time but we finally got this first proto done.

This bag is made out of ballistic nylon and has every single pocket or pouch you can hope for in a laptop bag.

*14"L x17"W x 6"H
*Carry three ways: Haul handle, removable backpack harness or shoulder strap
*Removable padded sleeve protects up to 15” notebook
*Legal-sized fan file system keeps documents wrinkle-free and organized
*Padded & Adjustable Shoulder Strap
*Hidden holster accessible via zippered pockets on both sides (horizontal draw)

Availability is scheduled for April 2005.

That's pretty nice. I don't like the backpack straps though. I prefer a more traditional laptop briefcase. Is that style available?

Got a price range in mind?? I don't like the backpack either, but it's removable; it might appeal to the younger shooter.

High Velocity, the backpack harness comes off. It's there more as an option should anyone want one. I've been using this bag for some months now and I find that there are times the backpack works better than shoulder strap carry and vice versa. I had this bag in mind for those who travel a lot. I fly with it all the time. I leave the holster in and check my firearm in separately and when I land in states that are legal for me to carry, back it goes into the bag.

bubbygator, this bag will probably end up retailing for around $90.

When and if I find the time, we'll probably get going on a more traditional satchel style bag.

Thanks :)

although I'm not in the market for one, I know at least two people that drove themselves nuts looking for just such a critter, and it had nothing to do with carry. It's convenient size that not a lot of folks seem to make without sticking stuff on it that say "expensive computer within"

raz-0, that was exactly what my initial problem was. I couldn't find a suitable notebook to fit my travel needs. I did eventually end up spending about $200 + for those new Swiss Army ones which I like very much. After about a year of use I realized that I would have it done the bag a tad different and of course add a holster. With the emails I was getting for new product requests, this was a natural evolution of the one I have.

Looks good!! I might have to replace my big old Zenith bag. :)

I was happy to see your booth at the Richmond show because I'd never had a chance to inspect any of your products. I really like the Tournament bag I bought.

John, thanks for getting the Tourny from us :)

We're making an effort to hit the show circuit 'cos it gives shooters a chance to check our stuff out. It's been good for us :)

Looks good. Unfortunately, my job has me going into .gov secure facilities far too often to carry. :(

i-Shot, are you guys going to be at the Chantilly show?

Valkman, sorry I didn't catch your post while I was in Vegas. I couldn't 'cos we brought my 5 month old daughter along and man, she was a handful. It was a loooong flight back. I didn't even get a chance to stop by and see 'Travis McGee' at his booth 'cos we were swamped! The first 2 days we didn't even get a chance to have breakfast AND lunch. It was mad crazy, bro.

Techbrute, thanks dude and I like the photo of that case you posted with the MP5 inside ;)

mtnbkr, yes, we will be at Chantilly but it's gonna be Mark Galvin who's running the show. Mark handles our sales. I might be in Dallas for yet another event :( If I'm not, I'll be sure to make time to be there. The Chantilly show is definitely our busiest gun show to date. A lot of forum folks make it there too.

Techbrute,

We're looking at a late April delivery. Thanks to a bunch of folks at SHOT, we've got a few tweaks to look into and then straight to production. You know how it is with us; always tweaking ;)

I like the bag, Helmie, I just don't care for the reading material that's in it. :D

Maaaan, how come I didn't catch that? I'll fire the photographer. I could have sworn I asked him to use the SWAT magazines I had lying around :D

BTW, thanks are in order for Flint's article. I owe you guys yet another one for all that support.

Techbrute, I was supposed to be in Dallas last month but I caught the flu and was out of commission for quite some time :( Dude, I was miserable.

why couldn't you have come out w/ this 3 years ago when i was starting law school? even with out the pistol pocket, it looks like a perfect laptop case.
