What are some of the better CCW holsters and methods for folks with "large" frame bodies and extra "padding"? Specifically, for carrying Kahr K9 sized pistols? :p

Personal preference rules, but I think that a good pocket holster with pleated trousers is hard to beat for a pocket pistol.

I was also wondering if any heavier set CCW carriers had experience with the Sparks Versa MaxII.

The Sparks is an excellent hoster. I use one to carry a full size 1911 and I am 6'3" tall and weigh in at about 290. I am, indeed, a large person. I have an excellent belt (1.75") and carry at around 4 o'clock. I kept moving the holster until I found just the right place (took some experimentation) on my hip. Don't know that one holster is better than another for big people. I have several by FIST that work well too. A good belt is a must as is some experimentation as to what works/feels best for you. Good shooting;)
